Welcoming The Hoosiers and Aladdinsane to this year’s Dartford Festival

The Hoosiers and Aladdinsane are the next two great acts to be announced for this year’s FREE Dartford Festival.

UK indie pop band The Hoosiers shot to fame in 2007 when their first single “Worried about Ray” reached number five in the UK Singles Chart. Along with this, their debut album “The Trick To Life” led to the release of several more hit singles including “Goodbye Mr. A” and “Cops and Robbers”.

The band has continued to make music, releasing a further three studio albums – “The Illusion of Safety” in 2010, “The News From Nowhere” in 2014 and “The Secret Service” in 2015.

The Hoosiers are touring and performing at festivals around the UK this summer and we’re looking forward to welcoming them to the main stage at the Dartford Festival on Sunday afternoon.

Following David Bowie’s passing in January this year, his music has reached out to new audiences young and old.

On Saturday 16th July, festivalgoers can hear the sound and experience the vision through the performance of Paul Henderson and Aladdinsane – widely acclaimed as the best Bowie tribute in the UK.

Aladdinsane have played theatres and venues across the country for the past ten years and have received rave reviews.

The band will be performing classic Bowie songs like Starman, Heroes, Life On Mars, Jean Genie, Golden Years, Let’s Dance, China Girl and Ashes To Ashes, to name but a few!
