Interested in local health decision-making? Come to our primary care commissioning committee meeting

by | Jul 13, 2019 | Dartford News, Dartford Council, Families, Health, Local Comment, Welfare

The public are welcome at meetings of NHS Dartford, Gravesham and Swanley Clinical Commissioning Group’s primary care commissioning committee, which are held every two months.

The next one will be at: Tuesday 23 July 2019, Dartford Borough Council (Room B12), Civic Centre, Home Gardens, Dartford DA1 1DR.

This committee considers and makes decisions about GP services, contracts and primary care. This means the healthcare provided by the NHS in the community for people making an initial approach to a medical practitioner (usually a GP or practice nurse) or clinic for advice or treatment.

Members of the public can attend to listen to discussions during the public session (part 1) and there is an opportunity for the public to ask questions.

The agenda and papers will be available here.

The public session (part 1) starts at 2:30pm and continues for up to two hours, depending on the agenda. Any changes to this time will be publicised on the CCG website and through our social media channels (Twitter and Facebook).

Questions for the primary care commissioning committee should relate to matters of primary care and should be submitted in advance.
