Hangloose breaks ground at Bluewater for England’s longest Zip Line.

Bluewater celebrated a groundbreaking moment last week as Hangloose Adventure, the outdoor adrenaline activity company, began construction on Hangloose Adventure – Bluewater.

Flanked by the chalk cliffs which characterise Bluewater’s unique landscape, Robert Goodman, Senior Centre Director of Bluewater, Brian Phelps, Managing Director of Hangloose Adventure and Cllr Jeremy Kite, Dartford Borough Council, commemorated the official groundbreaking with a series of photographs alongside the country’s largest spade.

The building of Hangloose Adventure – Bluewater, will see the creation of England’s longest and fastest Zip Line. The adventure park will be situated amongst the 50 acres of stunning parkland at Bluewater, which has recently been awarded Green Flag status for the fifth year in a row. Designed to make the most of the beautiful outdoor spaces that Bluewater has to offer, the Zip Line is due to open for February half-term 2021.

Once open, Hangloose Bluewater will continue to add more exhilarating experiences over the following 36 months.

These include an Outdoor Skydive Machine, Europe’s largest Swing and Europe’s largest Outdoor Climbing Wall, guaranteeing visitors thrilling experiences like no other.

Focusing on environmentally safe and eco-friendly fun, the Climbing Wall will make use of the cliffs surrounding Bluewater to create a range of fun-filled activities for all fitness levels as climbing becomes an Olympic sport for the first time in 2021.

This Christmas, those looking to treat their loved ones, or themselves, to a truly unique experience in 2021, can access an early-bird 30% discount by visiting the Hangloose Adventure stand in Bluewater from 24th October 2020.

Robert Goodman, Senior Centre Director of Bluewater said “As Bluewater evolves, we continue to create stand out experiences for our guests. We are delighted that the new Hangloose Adventure enables us to do this while showcasing our beautiful surroundings. It is a fantastic development for Kent as well as the whole of the South East and will bring visitors from all over the country to experience the thrills of England’s longest and fastest Zip Wire.”

Commenting on the project, Hangloose Adventure’s MD, Brian Phelps, said “We’re thrilled to be bringing England’s longest and fastest Zip Line to Bluewater. This will be one of the biggest and most exciting activities available anywhere in the country, super-fast and super-accessible and right on your doorstep.
