To help launch the return of the Giving Tree at Bluewater, pupils from Bean Primary School in Kent paid a visit to donate gifts to disadvantaged children in Kent and the South East.

The Giving Tree, in conjunction with Heart FM, is back at Bluewater following the success of last year’s appeal, which saw over 11,000 gifts delivered to disadvantaged children. Once again, Bluewater would like to invite you back to celebrate the season of giving, by donating even more gifts to local children.

Find the 20-foot Christmas tree located on the Upper Mall near Marks & Spencer, select a tag which includes the age of a child and buy them a present! The gift will then be delivered to children’s charities across Kent, Sussex and Surrey in time for them to unwrap on Christmas Day.

The Giving Tree is at Bluewater for six weeks and supports 30 children’s charities, including Duchenne UK, Dandelion Time and Ellenor Hospice.

Robert Goodman, Bluewater General Manager, said: “We are honoured to host the Giving Tree here at Bluewater for the third year running and, because it’s Christmas, we’re hoping that the generosity of the community will shine through once again with the number of gifts donated to disadvantaged children”

To donate a gift to a disadvantaged child this Christmas head to The Giving Tree at Bluewater before Wednesday 21st December. For more information visit www.bluewater.co.uk
