Dartford Borough Council moves to RingGo cashless parking payments

RingGo announces collaboration to provide technologically-enabled parking in the Dartford area

RingGo, the UK’s number 1 phone parking app, today announces its collaboration with Dartford Borough Council to deliver cashless parking to local residents, at the same time replacing an alternative phone parking solution.

With this announcement, Dartford becomes the 10th council in Kent to offer RingGo. The councils currently using RingGo include Gravesham, Medway, Swale, Folkestone and Hythe, Canterbury, Thanet, Maidstone, Tunbridge Wells and Dover.

Past successes indicate that the implementation of RingGo here will encourage more local drivers to park cashlessly. Motorists can use the RingGo app to map parking spaces navigate to them and pay for parking. Motorists can also extend their stay via their smartphone after they have found and parked in an available space.

Jeremy Kite, Leader of Dartford Borough Council said: “The introduction of RingGo in Dartford means quick and simple cashless parking payments for local residents and visitors, making life much easier for commuters and trips into town far more convenient for shoppers.

Drivers who park in Dartford can get VAT receipts for all parking sessions either through the free RingGo parking app, or on the website. People who park for business in Dartford can check out the RingGo Corporate solution for business parking at RingGo.co.uk/corporate. Drivers who are not smartphone users can still use RingGo to pay for parking in Dartford by calling 01322 917 527. There will be a 20p convenience fee and 10p per update text messages when using RingGo’s parking solutions.
