Dartford Borough Council is inviting local ‘not for profit’ registered charities and community groups to apply for funding as part of its Community Grant Scheme.
The Community Grant initiative offers grants of between £500 and £3,000 for local groups to improve the services they offer to Dartford residents.
The council is seeking projects that will:
- improve Dartford’s sporting provision or work towards improving club standards; or
- improve, provide or expand services for young people or older people.
Applications will be considered by a panel of councillors and successful applicants will receive their funding before the end of November.
Councillor Jeremy Kite, Leader of the Council, said, “The Council is once again offering funding to worthy local groups and projects through the Community Grant Scheme. It’s always great to see how the money awarded helps to improve and extend the services and activities available around the Borough.”
Full details of the scheme and an online application form are available at www.dartford.gov.uk/communitygrants . Applications and supporting documents must be received by midday on Monday 8th October 2018.
