Ice Rink to return to Bluewater this Christmas – Tickets on Sale Now

by | Oct 17, 2023 | Bluewater, Entertainment, What's On?

Bluewater’s Ice Rink is set to return to the centre for Christmas 2023, with tickets on sale now.

The family friendly attraction will return to Bluewater from Tuesday 14th November until Sunday 7th January 2024. It will be located outside the Village, near Zizzi’s and will sit under a clear roof, making it the perfect activity come rain, snow, or shine this festive season.

Offering plenty of fun for guests of all ages, the Ice Rink will be running quiet sessions, as well as parent and toddler sessions for budding skaters. Penguin and seal skating aids will be available for little ones, and the Ice Rink’s party nights are back by popular demand – playing classic party anthems to soundtrack your skating session.

The rink will be open from 4pm on 14th November with sessions available daily until Sunday 7th January 2024 (excluding Christmas Day).  Bluewater’s restaurants will also be open to enjoy pre or post skating refreshments, including those close-by in The Village: Buenasado, Carluccio’s, Cote Brasserie, Pizza Express and Zizzi’s.

As well as the Ice Rink, the centre’s enchanting Christmas experience, Believe, is set to return following a magical makeover for 2023. The Grotto will be open from 1st December right up until Christmas Eve, and will be located inside Bluewater for the first time on the Lower Rose Gallery, opposite Superdrug.

James Waugh, Centre Director at Bluewater, commented: “Christmas is truly one of the most magical times of the year here at Bluewater, and we’re thrilled to be welcoming back our Ice Rink following its fantastic reception in previous years.

“With sessions to suit all, and skate aids on hand for those who need them, the Ice Rink is always a family-favourite here at Christmas.

“Our new grotto is also sure to get visitors in the Christmas spirit and, alongside hundreds of shops and restaurants, plus free thousands of free parking spaces, Bluewater is the perfect festive family day out.

Bluewater’s ice rink will be open from Tuesday 14th November until Sunday 7th January, with special events and bundles yet to be announced. Tickets go on sale today. For further information, and to book tickets please visit  https://bluewater.co.uk/
