Home Instead Dartford has been declared a ‘5 star’ employer, showing that care is a worthwhile career path to take. The home care company’s employees have commended the company due to factors such as top-quality training opportunities and supportive leadership.

All employees of the home care company were invited to take part in an anonymous survey by independent employee engagement experts WorkBuzz. Home Instead Dartford is delighted to have received an impressive employee engagement score of 95, a rating that few companies achieve.

100% of care professionals said they are proud to work at Home Instead, while 97% said they feel like they’re part of a team.

Those who receive the company’s care were also surveyed, leading to exceptionally high satisfaction scores. This includes 100% of clients saying that they would recommend Home Instead as a great place to work and 100% of clients agreed that Home Instead Dartford are responsive to any queries they have.

One review from a daughter of a client reads: “Home Instead Dartford has been caring for our mum for the last few years. All the carers go above and beyond to ensure mum feels safe and comfortable. We are always altered to any issues immediately, which gives us the peace of mind to know she is being looked after.”

The owner of Home Instead Dartford, Christina Uppenkamp is calling for more people to come onboard and join the team who have praised the company for being a supportive employer. There are 40 to 50 care professional vacancies on offer for people who want to begin or further a career in care.

Christina Uppenkamp says, “I am immensely proud of our recognition as a ‘5 star’ employer for the fourth year in a row! This title stands as a testament to the dedication of our care professionals and management, putting us in a great position to deliver quality care to older people in the community.”

Steven Frost, CEO at WorkBuzz, says: “I’m delighted to see Home Instead Dartford receive the WorkBuzz 5 Star Employer Award for 2023 – congratulations! The 5 Star programme is based on confidential employee feedback to identify organisations where employees are proud to work there, feel motivated to do their best work, and would recommend it as a great place to work – all signs of a great culture. The award demonstrates Home Instead’s commitment to creating an environment which improves their employees working lives and enables them to thrive.”
