Make a date for the 2017 ellenor calendar

by | Oct 31, 2016 | Dartford Charities

Once again the ellenor calendar for 2017 includes beautiful images of North Kent, taken by members of the Dartford & District Photographic Society. The images have been specifically chosen to highlight the myriad landscapes around the area, while the calendar also features a delicious recipe each month. Every year, sales of the ellenor calendar help to raise vital funds for the charity and creates additional awareness of ellenor in the local community.

The 2017 calendar, along with a selection of ellenor Christmas cards, is available to buy in ellenor’s 16 shops around Kent and Bexley – from Tunbridge Wells to Crayford. The charity’s shops are currently all busy gearing up for Christmas – particularly ellenor’s Swanscombe shop, which will feature its popular festive bazaar, which opens on Monday 7 November. This includes new gifts, party dresses, decorations and so much more – saved up all year to create a winter wonderland in the shop. There will also be raffles and hampers, including a large basket filled with Harrods goodies such as teddy bears, tea towels and mugs.

“Christmas is a really important time for families, particularly those cared for by ellenor,” says Tim Stewart, Head of Retail at ellenor. “Raising vital funds through the sale of our 2017 calendar, ellenor Christmas cards and festive gifts across all our retail outlets, means we can continue providing 24/7 care to the families we care for across this festive period. A huge ‘thank you’ to the Dartford & District Photographic Society who provide spectacular photographs for us each year.”

There will also be Christmas gifts and festive surprises at ellenor’s Christmas Fair, which takes place at ellenor Gravesend on Saturday 26 November (from 11am).
