THE BEACH RETURNS TO BLUEWATER WITH NEW ATTRACTIONS PLUS FAMILY FAVOURITES

by | Jul 24, 2022 | Children, Dartford Entertainment, Entertainment, Families, Familly, What's On?, Where to go locally

Bluewater is the ultimate destination for all the family this summer and forming part of their Summer ‘Lollydays’ campaign, The Beach will return for the sixth consecutive year! The Beach will be open from Saturday 23rd July until Sunday 4th September from 11am to 8pm (weather dependent).

Bluewater will be welcoming back attractions such as the waltzers and bumper cars, alongside water-based activities including the water balls and paddling pools. Classic fairground stalls and eating options will be available, and as always, there’s plenty of sand for those wanting to sit back and relax on a deck chair or hammock and lounge in the summer sun whilst admiring the festival flags.

New attractions for 2022 include a mirror maze and ‘freakout’ – a head-turning, gyro-swing ride, that will leave thrill-seekers on the edge of their seats. Riders will enjoy being swung through the sky, gaining a great height before plunging back towards the ground whilst being rotated 360-degrees.

Following the success and popularity of the cocktail bar last year, it will return even bigger for 2022 selling special cocktails including piña coladas served in fresh pineapples.

The Beach will also be hosting more fantastic family-friendly entertainment than ever before, including singing princess shows which are new for 2022, and performances from The Forever Steel Band over the August bank holiday weekend.

Other entertainment includes puppet shows, magic shows, balloon modelling, and bubble fun! The full list of events is as follows:

  • Sun 24th July  Bubble fun & puppets
  • Sun 31st July  Bubbles fun & puppets
