UK-exclusive Gabby’s Dollhouse ‘Join the Party’ Trail Experience Launched at Bluewater in Kent

Inspired by DreamWorks Animation’s Hit Preschool Series

DreamWorks Animation, in partnership with Universal Products & Experience, invites fans of its hit preschool series, Gabby’s Dollhouse to ‘Join the Party’ as a free-to-play, cat-terrific, interactive experience launched at Bluewater Shopping Centre last weekend.

Bluewater in Kent is the only place in the UK that fans of Gabby’s Dollhouse can embark on a fun-filled scavenger hunt with Gabby, helping her to find statues of her five friends. The nine-day residency started on Saturday 26th October, with Gabby appearing to greet fans at intervals over the opening weekend.

Participants in this unique digital experience scan a QR code to join the party, receiving prompts from Gabby’s friends along the way, with each discovery unlocking exclusive content and a custom photo filter.  Once the mission is complete, the celebration begins with a party reflecting the themes of the latest Gabby’s Dollhouse episodes.

This half-term, families are welcome to complete the trail for fun but on Saturday 2nd and Sunday 3rd November, participating children will receive branded cat-ear crowns on completion of the trail and have the chance to meet the Gabby costume character*.

James Waugh, Centre Director at Bluewater, commented: “We’re delighted to announce that Bluewater is the only UK host site for the Gabby’s Dollhouse ‘Join the Party’ Trail Experience. It’s a fantastic opportunity for families to enjoy an interactive and imaginative adventure together. We have been happy to see the smiles and joy this experience is bringing to children as they immerse themselves in the world of Gabby’s Dollhouse this half term.”

A spokesperson from DreamWorks Animation and Universal Products & Experience, said: “We are so excited to kick-off the Gabby’s Dollhouse ‘Join the Party’ Trail Experience at Bluewater, before taking the concept to Spain, Germany, France and Italy. There’s something really special about Gabby, and we are enjoying bringing her world to life by creating memorable experiences for families across the South of England.”

The Gabby’s Dollhouse ‘Join the Party’ Trail Experience is located on the Upper Thames Walk at Bluewater, with the route starting on the crossbridge opposite NEXT. The ‘Join the Party’ Trail Experience will be hosted at Bluewater until Sunday 3rd November.
