The Summer Exhibition 2020 – Sir Peter Blake Gallery

The hugely successful Summer Exhibition is returning to the Sir Peter Blake Gallery for another exciting display of exceptional art created by local people. 

Now in its fourth year, the Summer Exhibition has established itself as a great opportunity for emerging and established artists to showcase their work in a public gallery. Whether you’re a professional or amateur artist, this is an open exhibition where everyone is welcome to enter.  

Dartford Council want this to be another show of art in different mediums, styles and subject areas – and to celebrate once again that Dartford is home to outstanding artistic talent.

The closing date for entries is Friday 27th March 2020.

The exhibition will take place between the 4th May and the 25th July 2020.

The Sir Peter Blake Gallery is located in the same building as Dartford Library and is curated by Dartford Borough Council on behalf of Kent County Council’s Libraries Registrations & Archives service.

Opening times

Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday – 10am to 5pm. Thursday – 10am to 6pm. Saturday – 10am to 4pm. Sunday – Closed

Entry into the Sir Peter Blake Gallery is free to the public.

There is ramped access to the front door of Dartford Library and lift access to the Sir Peter Blake Gallery. Wheelchair accessible toilet.
