The Big Switch On 9th November – 5-8PM
FREE INDOOR EVENT
Festive celebrations begin at Bluewater on 9th November with the annual Christmas light switch on event. New this year, guests are invited to enjoy The Big Switch On, a fantastic night of indoor festive performances, themed around the 12 Days of Christmas, taking place around the mall including comedy, dance, music and more. Bluewater will also unveil new decorations, that are more spectacular than ever before. Plus, Heart Radio’s breakfast presenters James and Becky will be switching on the lights in the Moon Court outside M&S, with a special appearance from Santa.
The Giving Tree: 9th November – 22nd December
The Giving Tree, in association with Heart Radio, is back at Bluewater. From 9th November guests can head to the giant tree, located in the mall outside M&S, to donate a gift and help give a local disadvantaged child a better Christmas. 2016 saw almost 15,000 gifts delivered to children in the South East, and because it’s Christmas, Bluewater is encouraging guests to spread some festive cheer by donating once again.
Santa’s Grotto – 16th November – 24th December
From £10 for a child entry
Make Christmas extra special with a visit to see Santa at Bluewater’s grotto, located by the beautiful lakes at the West Village from the 16th November. Treat the little ones to a wonderful experience in the beautiful grotto. Their festive journey will begin with a warm welcome from Mr Crumb the Christmas Chef at the entrance of the enchanting log cabin. The children will be magically transformed into elves and help Mr Crumb make a gingerbread man but something goes wrong and out of the oven jumps the real Gingerbread Man! The little elves will continue their adventure in Mrs Claus’ craft room where they can enjoy creating a tree decoration, then it’s on to meet Santa where they’ll receive a lovely soft toy to take home. Photographs can be purchased upon leaving the grotto.
